On April 25, 2022, one of the most shameful decisions of the Turkish judicial system was taken. A cultural worker and human rights activist Osman Kavala was sentenced to aggravated life imprisonment with the claim of financing Gezi Park protests, as were seven other people who were sentenced to 18 years in prison: Mücella Yapıcı, Çiğdem Mater, Hakan Altınay, Can Atalay, Mine Özerden, Yiğit Ali Ekmekçi, Tayfun Kahraman.

This video is the documentation of a sound installation which was placed on a drink fridge in a Spati at Kottbusser Damm. It is a reminder of what happened in this lawsuit. Each time someone opens the fridge door, it tells the story of one of these people's names and story.
